Quill & Flame got its start from best selling author April J. Skelly’s frustration with the general market. Tired of searching for good books for her high school students that didn’t glorify toxic relationships, have words sailors would blush at hearing, or portray graphic sex on the page, she wanted something more. Quill & Flame was born. Over the last few years, our publishing house has expanded with new imprints that range from romance to dark fiction. All books are PG-13 or cleaner. These expanded imprints are a space for compelling stories in almost every genre, in both the general and Christian market.
If you’ve got a YA or Adult (your protagonists are 13-18 or 18-early twenties respectively) story that has a cracking plot and characters you’d literally die for, we want to read it! We want originality, and we have new imprints for your stories. Show us something we haven’t seen, or show us something that’s been done a thousand times in a way that will knock our socks off! HI! My name is Kelsey Kolb and I am a graphic design professional. I am passionate about being ultra creative and creating savvy marketing solutions. I take pride in my time management, organization and hard-working attributes. I have experience working at a marketing agency for multiple different industries and working in an inhouse marketing department. My experiences have allowed me to gain a variety of skills. While these skills range from customer service, to Microsoft Office, to team management, to Adobe CC, and everything between, my passions lie in creative roles. I have completed formal college education in Adobe PhotoShop, InDesign, Illustrator, as well as courses in color theory, and digital and print media. I am also passionate about being the best that I can be, whatever the task is that is set before me. I pride myself in achieving the objectives of the client I am working for, and exceeding expectations.
